Welcome to the Calontir Fiber and Needle Guild! We are fiber enthusiasts in the Kingdom of Calontir located in Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, and the northwest corner of Arkansas; a division of the Society for Creative Anachronism.
We are a diverse group of workers and are open to anyone interested in fiber arts, from preparation to the finished product, from novice to expert. Members in our group may spin, weave, knit, nalbind, embroider, or sew; if it involves fiber and was done in the middle ages we are interested. We encourage sharing our knowledge remembering that everyone is a beginner at some point.
The Fiber and Needle Guild holds meetings throughout the year at Coronation,Crown Tournament, Kris Kinder and at the annual Lilies war, where we also hold classes and demonstrations. We have a discussion list open to all, at
Yahoo groups, under Calontir fiber; we invite you to participate at what ever level you would enjoy, come and join us!

Greetings and Salutations,
There are many new things in store for the website, so keep your eyes open. This month we will be adding blogs and a coppermine gallery for various memebers to keep project diaries, photos and documentations here online, in hopes that it may be able to assist others in their research goals. I would love to see submissions for everything and anything on this site, as it is very easy and simple to do. Remember, by sharing your knowledge, we grow together!
With the new changes, everyone will have more freedom to contribute additional articles, announcements, etc. and can take part in creating our online home. Please be patient for the first few weeks until the site gets settled in, as I may still be tracking down a couple of wily pages!
